He is Risen

I just absolutely love the LDS hymn, "He is Risen" written by Cecil Frances Alexander, in 1818-189. This song makes me extremely HAPPY and it just is the base of my faith. My heart is full from this weeks general conference. Even though I hate listening to so many sessions of old guys, and I'd rather be making cookies, or out hiking; I still adore and love the strong faith of this wonderful Christian nation. Our Savior is a person, that walked the earth, healed the sick, and loved the children. He is the Son of God. He died for us, to save us from sin, so that we can live with our Father in Heaven once again. I have such faith in him and I believe in him and his teachings. We need to remember the example God has given us, and live our lives according to, not to our worldly temptations and desires, but to Gods will. He gives us guidelines and he has shown us the way. He expects us to follow.

"He will someday return to earth. “And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together” (Isaiah 40:5) Jesus Christ is our brother and Savior.

Present YOU, Not Professionalism

The way you present yourself can make or break you. But there are plenty of other ways to present yourself and your personality other than professional. Some people can pull off the professional, but sometimes a person just can't. So emphasizing your personality and it's strengths can be more beneficial. Humor, soft and sincere, intelligence, or a bold style can all be emphasized to present your individual professionalism.
So whats the point of this? No matter who you are, you always have something to contribute to a presentation. You don't have to act like something your not.
HOW do you do this? Ask around about your strengths or what you can improve on. People can see this even in the way you interact normally. If you can, practicing presenting can help point out your flaws and strengths and then you work on those. FORCING yourself to act strong and confident can be a big challenge, but if you can pull off a cool voice and smooth information, this is working with your strengths.

Team Consulting

I want to talk about being connected as a team and in a virtual sense. When working on projects with your employers, it is so essential to stay connected and share your progress. Not knowing where your team is, or what has been completed can be a HUGE struggle. It can be very frustrating for your group members and yourself to feel in the dark.
How can you stay connected and share information? The answer is Google Drive, Docs, or Dropbox. I am a firm believe in Google Drive and I absolutely love this free program online. Everyone can see the progress and edit PowerPoint's, documents, and add folders. It's instant and the progress can be seen right as documents are being edited.
This is perfect to stay connected and share progress. It's easy and eliminates a lot of frustration and confusion.
So what do you as a reader take away from this? ALWAYS stay connected. Google Docs and Drive is just one easy way and example of staying connected with your team. If your team doesn't know your progress, this creates a lot of confusion and problems might arise a lot easier.
